Hans Wegner Rocking Chair Made by Tarm Stole, Denmark

$1,650.00

Hans Wegner Rocker with new foam and new leather straps supporting the headrest. The original foam in these chairs is 5/8” of medium soft low density, which isn’t comfortable after 5 years of use. I removed the original fabric, replaced the worn foam with 1” high density foam for seat and headrest. The difference is remarkable. After cleaning I reattached the original fabric. The leather straps on these chairs is generally worn and dried out and though the leather may have lasted for some years in the future I decided to replace it with nearly identical leather which will last for decades.

Teak is in very good condition with a few marks but this chair was clearly gently used. I cleaned and oiled the teak.

Marked 1 10 80 Made in Denmark. Believe that’s October 1, 1980.
